Our great Rennes-based La Digital Tech Conference returns in early December. On the agenda this year are robots and blockchains. Today we unveil the names of the 4 speakers and launch ticket sales. Don’t miss out: The “early bird” rate applies only to the first 100 XL Passes bought ☺
On the occasion of this third edition, we introduce two new features: it extends over 2 days and you have a choice of price formats. “We’ve had feedback from participants who wanted to see the speakers on the main stage… but preferred to skip the networking enabled by this type of event,” explains Laurent Bertaux, Chairman of the Board of La French Tech Rennes St Malo. “We therefore decided to organise a time for workshops and networking on Thursday 7 December at French Tech, before the main day of conferences at Rennes Opera House.” The purpose of this new workshops day is to enable the focused exchange of ideas between the speakers and the public, over a longer period of time and in an interactive format based around workshops, masterclasses and demos.
Pricing options
Another new feature in 2017 is pricing options: “We’ve noticed that the public at La Digital Tech Conference was amazingly eclectic,” says Stanislas Hintzy, CEO of La French Tech Rennes St Malo. “We have therefore come up with pricing options tailored to the different features that people want. The director of a start-up, the head of an R&D lab, an investor, and a PhD don’t necessarily come for the same thing.” The result is three pricing options, from €59 to €159.
The features that made the first two editions a success will still be there: high-flying speakers, the stunning setting of Rennes Opera House (built in 1836!) for daytime events, and the laid-back venues of Transmusicales for the evening.
100 “early bird” Passes
Ticket sales are now open and the first 100 XL Passes bought benefit from the “early bird” rate.
Onboard: Andy, Ritta, Primavera and Rodolphe (among others ☺)
Robots and blockchains are ever-present topics in discussions about the tech world… yet still remain mysterious. Who can reasonably predict the building blocks of tomorrow’s technological world?!
To support us in these explorations, the researcher Primavera De Filippi (CNRS, France and Harvard University, USA) will be on hand, as will Andy Budd, Chairman & CEO of Clearleft (UK) and founder of the Brighton Digital Festival, Rodolphe Gelin, Vice President Innovation at SoftBank Group (ex-Aldebaran) and Ritta Baddoura, psychologist and researcher specialising in human-robot interactions.
